Paid Legitimate Surveys Online
Legitimate Survey companies recruiting online consumers to take product and services surveys, take part in focus groups, and test actual goods are needing consumers from all demographics for the provision of valuable marketing data for lots of consumer products and services companies. Several of these companies are members of the Fortune 500.
Consumers from many demographics are needed to take legitimate surveys and perform product reviews, especially in the biggest consumer economy worldwide, the USA. Market research departments in most of these companies have always had budgets allotted to independent market surveys and product trials and the budgets are substantial, particularly for the larger popular companies. Prior to now, the consumers from all of the demographics areas important to these companies were targeted by paid telemarketing and direct contact survey teams who eventually needed to be limited by regulation because of the invasion of privacy of the consumers they contacted. The quality of the data from these surveys was suspect because they were completed with data from consumers who were not really willing.
Since the world wide web has provided a means of working directly with consumers in their homes, legitimate survey companies have begun using online techniques to employ paid, willing survey takers who provide high quality survey data.
So what does this mean for the individual who is looking for either a part time or full time source of income? This means that there’s the opportunity for generating massive income online, in the comfort of your own home, at your own schedule, and not requiring anything more than an Internet connection, a pc, and an email address. Just like any business method, your pay shall be proportional to the amount of work you put into it, but things being relative, filling out legitimate surveys are actually pleasurable and interesting tasks, and everyone who is a service or product consumer is an expert in the eyes of the companies needing the research data.
So what does this business of doing legitimate surveys involve?
First, what it doesn’t involve:
* Getting up early each morning and commuting to the office or work location.
* Purchasing business attire.
* Compromising your family time due to work schedules.
* Not being able to take vacations due to work schedules.
* Needing babysitters for young kids while parents are working.
* Several other little things a “job” imposes on you…
What it does involve:
* On your own schedule, checking your email and internet based service for the surveys that are offered to you.
* Providing your honest opinion on services and products that you review almost every day.
* To make more money, participating in online product focus groups where men and women network online at high hourly rates to talk about products and make recommendations for improvement.
* Be a mystery shopper while you shop for yourself and getting paid for it.
* Driving a brand new automobile to provide feedback.
* Going out to eat free of charge to give feedback on restaurants.
* This list continues…
Exactly what are “legitimate surveys” and why is this important?
As the web isn’t closely regulated, there’s room for a bit of online fraud. Unsubstantiated promises, misleading sweepstakes contests, along with other methods are employed to solicit survey information from individuals with unkempt promises for rewards. Although these activities may not be widespread, they do usually warrant caution so that your time and effort spent will not be misused. Legitimate surveys providers are long term businesses who guarantee payment which is agreed to before the survey is performed. The survey companies also aggregate all of the paid surveys and remove those that are not legitimate surveys, focusing you on only profitable surveys, saving time.
How much money can be made taking surveys?
Naturally, the quantity of effort you are prepared to put into the work will determine much of this, but usually, it only takes one or two hours on a daily basis to perform from 4 to 5 surveys. * Online focus groups pay from $50 to $150 dollars per hour, again, dependent upon the service or product.
* Other activities pay a proportionate amount to the above generally , but for our purposes here, can be considered extra. (Although they can add up to a lot of money when combined.)
For the average survey taker, doing 4 Surveys For approximately two hours per day is typical. This one thing, if calculated with the lower range of $20.00 per survey will total $1,600.00 every month, working two hours each day, 5 days per week. Using the mid-range of surveys ($20 – $70) and being conservative, $3,000.00 a month is easily attainable with the same work schedule. If an online survey taker does 1 online focus group each week, the mid-range could add $400 to $600 dollars each month. Again, you’ll be able to do as many of these as are available.
It isn’t difficult to see how many online survey takers are actually full-time in this business. All that is needed to get started is to register with several of the legitimate surveys organizations.

A Faith of Their Own: Stability and Change in the Religiosity of America’s Adolescents $24.95 Adding to the contributions made by Soul Searching and Souls in Transition–two books which revolutionized our understanding of the religious lives of young Americans–Lisa Pearce and Melinda Lundquist Denton here offer a new portrait of teenage faith. Drawing on the massive National Study of Youth and Religion’s telephone surveys and in-depth interviews with more than 120 youth at two points in time, the authors chart the spiritual trajectory of American adolescents and young adults over a period of three years. Turning conventional wisdom on its head, the authors find that religion is an important force in the lives of most–though their involvement with religion changes over time, just as teenagers themselves do. Pearce and Denton weave in fascinating portraits of actual youth to give depth to mere numerical rankings of religiosity, which tend to prevail in large studies. One teenager might rarely attend a service, yet count herself profoundly religious; another might be deeply involved in a church’s social world, yet claim to be “not, like, deep into the faith.” They provide a new set of qualitative categories–Abiders, Assenters, Adapters, Avoiders, and Atheists–quoting from interviews to illuminate the shading between them. And, with their three-year study, they offer a rich understanding of the dynamic nature of faith in young people’s lives during a period of rapid change in biology, personality, and social interaction. Not only do degrees of religiosity change, but so does its nature, whether expressed in institutional practices or personal belief.By presenting a new model of religious development and change, illustrated with compelling personal accounts of real teenagers, Pearce and Denton offer parents, scholars, and religious leaders a new guide for understanding religious development in teens. |

A More Perfect Military: How the Constitution Can Make Our Military Stronger $29.95 Surveys show that the all-volunteer military is our most respected and trusted institution, but over the last thirty-five years it has grown estranged from civilian society. Without a draft, imperfect as it was, the military is no longer as representative of civilian society. Fewer people accept the obligation for military service, and a larger number lack the knowledge to be engaged participants in civilian control of the military. The end of the draft, however, is not the most important reason we have a significant civil-military gap today. A More Perfect Military explains how the Supreme Court used the cultural division of the Vietnam era to change the nature of our civil-military relations. The Supreme Court describes itself as a strong supporter of the military and its distinctive culture, but in the all-volunteer era, its decisions have consistently undermined the military’s traditional relationship to law and the Constitution. Most people would never suspect there was anything wrong, but our civil-military relations are now as constitutionally fragile as they have ever been.A More Perfect Military is a bracingly candid assessment of the military’s constitutional health. It crosses ideological and political boundaries and is challenging-even unsettling-to both liberal and conservative views. It is written for those who believe the military may be slipping away from our common national experience. This book is the blueprint for a new national conversation about military service. |

A Psychonaut’s Guide to the Invisible Landscape: The Topography of the Psychedelic Experience $8.28 ENTHEOGENS / PSYCHOLOGY?Dan Carpenter’s forays into the fractal hyperspace and hive minds of the DXM realms offer a serious contribution to contemporary psychedelic thought. His work follows in the tradition of inner-space investigators such as Coleridge, Antonin Artaud, Aldous Huxley, and Terence McKenna. This will be a ?must-read? for every serious psychonaut.?DANIEL PINCHBECK, author of Breaking Open the Head: A Psychedelic Journey into the Heart of Contemporary Shamanism?Like that of the intrepid scout who surveys the fantastical geography of new worlds for others too timid to venture first, Carpenter’s service will be honored and remembered.? CHARLES HAYES, author of Tripping: An Anthology of True-Life Psychedelic Adventures Journeying into the invisible world revealed by his use of the dissociative psychedelic DXM (dextromethorphan), Dan Carpenter found that what he experienced was not simply subjective sensations and psychological states but an objective world of familiar if inordinately odd landmarks and characters. The running diary he kept of these voyages recounts impressions of a landscape charted by other travelers into this inner space and includes descriptions of many of the same phenomena recorded by such mind travelers as Terence and Dennis McKenna, Alexander and Ann Shulgin, and others who have experienced the Hive Mind–the pool of all consciousness. Into this territory where expression is like chaos theory, where oddly symmetrical order manifests out of the seemingly anarchic swirl of images and events, the author ventures with the mind-set of a naturalist, accepting whatever might be rather than what he hopes he might find. What emerges is not a location crafted bysubjective experience, but a landscape that embodies the Other and that represents a conscious state in which the barriers between the self and the not-self dissolve. DAN CARPENTER (1963?2005) took thirteen high-dose, closed-eye trips using DXM between January 2003 and July 2004, which |

A multi-level examination of frontline interdepartmental integration. $49.99 The purpose of this dissertation is to examine interdepartmental integration between frontline departments using multilevel theory. This dissertation makes contributions in five major areas: (1) identifying the multilevel theoretical characteristics of each conceptualization of interdepartmental integration, (2) clarifying how integrating mechanisms influence interdepartmental relationship effectiveness between frontline departments, (3) applying a multilevel theoretical framework to expand and develop control theory, and (4) highlighting the importance of a frequently overlooked frontline department—service-coordinators—in the sales process, and (5) demonstrating the application of new multilevel methodology in marketing.;This dissertation follows the three paper format. The first paper is a conceptual paper which reviews multilevel theory and applies it to interdepartmental integration. The second paper expands control theory using multilevel theory to explain the relationship between salespeople and service-coordinators—frontline employees in charge of coordinating the logistical details of a sale. The third paper examines the relationships between each of the three conceptualizations of interdepartmental integration.;Hypotheses in paper 2 and paper 3 were tested using data collected from new car dealerships in a mid-western city from June 2007 to July 2007. The sampling frame consisted of dealerships who were members of a major regional automobile association. A total of 121 surveys were collected from salespeople and 58 from service-coordinators from a total of 20 dealerships. |

A surrogate measure of customer satisfaction in the manufacture of Printed Wiring Boards. $108 The objective of this research is to determine and develop a model that is capable of accurately measuring customer satisfaction for different industries and in particularly for the Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) Manufacturers. The new model will incorporate data not being collected or utilized by the survey method of determining customer satisfaction.;The method used is a weighted average of satisfaction among several researched categories with percentages that accurately represent the relative importance of multiple facets of the PWB manufacturers customer satisfaction.;A very common term in quality assurance is that “What is not measured accurately can not be evaluated or managed correctly,” thus customer satisfaction is a very important aspect of any business, industry, or government. A satisfied customer will do more business and recommend it to other potential customers. Thus the business will grow and more revenues result. On the other hand, an unsatisfied customer will abandon the business and encourage more customers not to get involved with the same business so the business may decline and lose its market share and profitability. The categories that contribute to PWB customer satisfaction will be determined by conducting surveys among the leaders and best in the business of the PWB industry in addition to discovery of related articles that define the categories of the customer satisfaction for the PWB manufacturers.;Once the categories are determined, the research concentrates on the weighting of the categories that most contribute to the PWB customer’s satisfaction and a measure of satisfaction is derived. The model is easily applied to any other kind of PWB business or service industry.;The model is based on empirical methods that will give an accurate measurement for the PWB customer’s satisfaction. This in turn allows organizations the opportunity for improving customer satisfaction and increasing market share. The algorithm is based on characteristics |

Achieving Better Service Delivery Through Decentralization in Ethiopia $25 Achieving Better Service Delivery Through Decentralization in Ethiopia examines the role decentralization has played in the improvement of human development indicators in Ethiopia.Ethiopia has made major strides in improving its human development indicators in the past 15 years, achieving significant increases in the coverage of basic education and health services in a short period of time. Improvements took place during a period of massive decentralization of fiscal resources, to the regions in 1994 and to woredas in 2002-03. The devolution of power and resources from the federal and regional governments to woredas appears to have improved the delivery of basic services.Surveys of beneficiaries reveal that they perceive that service coverage and quality have improved. Beneficiary satisfaction has increased markedly in education, and less conspicuously in water and health services. In the south, the decentralization to woredas in 2002-03 tended to narrow differences in per capita expenditures on education and health across woredas. Decentralization disproportionately favored woredas that are remote (more than 50 kilometers from a zonal capital), food-insecure, and pastoral, suggesting that decentralization has been pro-poor.Decentralization also narrowed the gap in educational outcomes between disadvantage and better-off woredas, especially in the south. Pastoral, food-insecure, and remote woredas gained in terms of the educational outcomes examined (gross enrollment rates, grade 8 examination pass rates, repetition rates, pupil-teacher ratios, and teacher-section ratios). |

Adventures with a Texas Humanist $24.95 For the first half of the twentieth century, Texas literature, culture, and folklore were dominated by J. Frank Dobie, the man Lon Tinkle called “Mr. Texas.” Dobie’s Texas was a land of exuberance and romance, a time when Texas was proud of itself and not loath to let the world know it.But the culture of the state changed in the 1960s, and the figure who replaced Dobie as the dominant Texas writer and literary icon was Larry McMurtry. The Texas of Larry McMurtry is a far different landscape. The old certainties were replaced by irony and cultural revolution. The high, wide, and handsome posture of Texans was muted by politics, student unrest, and war. In the first two essays in this volume—”The Age of Dobie” and “The Age of McMurtry”—James Ward Lee places the writers, the politicians, and the cultural leaders in the context of each age.Subsequent chapters discuss writers and trends in Texas literature. Lee discusses long-standing arguments about Texas literature and surveys bodies of work that have had an impact on it.Another part of the book looks at Texas folklore and culture. “The Uses of Folklore,” “The Folkways of the Arklatex,” “Texas: Land of Legends and Myths,” and “The Texas Sidekick” all study the way Texans live and work and see the world. The final section of the book is made up of some personal essays by a man whose ideas and attitudes are sometimes odd but always humorous. Lee writes of the life he has led in Texas as a college professor and takes a backward look at his life from boyhood to service in the U.S. Navy.About the Author:JAMES WARD LEE is an emeritus professor and former chair of English at the University of North Texas. He is a past president of the Texas Folklore Society and author of many articles, books, and reviews. The humorous essays of Texas, My Texas have made him a popular speaker and writer. His Classics of Texas Fiction discusses many of the best novels written by Texas |

Aging and Spirituality: Spiritual Dimensions of Aging Theory, Research, Practice and Policy $51.95 Explore the spiritual dimensions of aging through science, theory, and practice!During the later years of life, many people devote energy to a process of spiritual awakening and self-discovery. Yet their family, friends, clergy, and the helping professionals who work with them are not always prepared to understand or deal with the spiritual concerns of their clients. Aging and Spirituality provides a unique, far-reaching overview of this long-neglected field.Divided into four independent but interwoven sections, this landmark book covers the spiritual realm with scientific rigor and deep human understanding. Aging and Spirituality comprehensively surveys the issues of spirituality, from the groundwork of basic definitions to detailed assessments of the role spirituality plays in the lives of the elderly and suggested directions for further research. This book’s unique approach combines scholarly research and practical nuts-and-bolts suggestions for service delivery. By drawing from many disciplines and professions, it offers fresh perspectives to even those practitioners already familiar with the most effective spiritual techniques their own field can offer. Aging and Spirituality answers such common questions as: What are the spiritual needs of people later in life? Is there any solid evidence that prayer changes things? How is spirituality related to physical and mental health? Does spirituality matter when people know they are dying? How can we measure spiritual wellness and assess the outcomes of activities intended to enhance it? Will attention to spirituality aggravate or alleviate the losses—of friends, family, health, youth—that so often occur during old age?Aging and Spirituality provides a much-needed resource for health care professionals, clergy, social workers, and counselors working with geriatric clients. Anuschka Blommers & Niels Schumm: Anita and 124 other portraits $50 Anita and 124 other portraits surveys 10 years of fashion photography from Anuschka Blommers and Niels Schumm, and is the first book to bring together all the wide-ranging elements of their increasingly closely-watched collaboration. The duo is known for playing with the conventions of fashion in their work: in one piece, they explicitly pictured the instructions they had received from a well-known Japanese fashion house telling them how to photograph the clothes; for another fashion photo they selected someone who was not a professional model and, contrary to the client’s expectations, worked with neither a hairstylist nor a make- up artist. This led to the creation of a hyper-real image that touched on the surreal. In this volume, their fashion portfolios–they’ve worked for Self Service, Purple, Dazed & Confused, i-D, Re-Magazine, Another Magazine, Visionaire, British and Japanese Vogue, Interview, and the New York Times Magazine–are presented in complete series, many in their original magazine layouts. Portraits are ordered alphabetically, which results in unexpected combinations of style, and of civilians and stars, including Veronique Branquinho, Hussein Chalayan, Anton Corbijn, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Rem Koolhaas, Steve McQueen, Chloe Sevigny, Hedi Slimane and Viktor & Rolf. |

Art programs for youth in foster care: A survey and analysis. $49.99 This paper presents an overview of the major issues affecting the more than half a million children currently living in foster care and analyzes and evaluates the typology of art making experiences for foster youth. This qualitative study, which focuses on out-of-school visual arts programs for older adolescent foster youth ages 14 to 18, has two objectives: (1) to identify and evaluate the different types of visual arts programs implemented by foster care agencies, child welfare and arts organizations, service providers and individuals to address the specific needs of foster youth; and (2) to analyze the relationship of art educational art-making experiences to expressive art-making therapies commonly provided for foster youth. This study focuses on the visual arts for older adolescents who are at risk for aging out of the foster care system. However, some of the programs with multi-arts components have useful implications for younger children and address similar needs of abused, neglected and at-risk youth.;In order to examine the connection between the arts and foster youth, this study used four sources of information: (1) data from existing scholarly research and literature on the foster care system, foster youth, art education and art therapy; (2) quantitative data on foster youth collected by government agencies and child welfare organizations; (3) qualitative data obtained directly from arts programs for foster youth; and through (4) surveys and interviews of art program directors, child welfare administrators, art educators, art therapists, artists, foster youth, foster parents and foster alumni who have experience with the visual arts.;This study exposes a dual need for art educational research on special student populations and human development research on innovative methods of developing the “well-being” of the older youth in foster care. The results would be useful to art educators and art therapists working with older youth in the foster care system; |

Assessing the National Streamflow Information Program $35 From warning the public of impending floods to settling legal arguments over water rights, the measurement of streamflow (streamgaging—rdquo;) plays a vital role in our society. Having good information about how much water is moving through our streams helps provide citizens with drinking water during droughts, control water pollution, and protect wildlife along our stream corridors. The U.S. Geological Surveys (USGS) streamgaging program provides such information to a wide variety of users interested in human safety, recreation, water quality, habitat, industry, agriculture, and other topics. For regional and national scale streamflow information needs, the USGS has created a National Streamflow Information Program (NSIP). In addition to streamgaging, the USGS envisions intensive data collection during floods and droughts, national assessments of streamflow characteristics, enhanced information delivery, and methods development and research. The overall goals of the program are to: meet legal and treaty obligations on interstate and international waters, support flow forecasting; measure river basin outflows, monitor sentinel watersheds for long-term trends in natural flows, and measure flows for water quality needs. But are these the right topics to collect data on? Or is the USGS on the wrong track? In general, the book is supportive of the design and content of NSIP, including its goals and methodology for choosing stream gages for inclusion in the program. It sees the ultimate goal of NSIP as developing the ability to use existing data-gathering sites to generate streamflow information with quantitative confidence limits at any location in the nation. It is just asimportant to have good measurements during droughts as during floods, and it therefore recommends supporting Natural Resource Conservation Service forecast sites in addition to those of the National Weather Service. |

Assessment of Exposure to Indoor Air Pollutants $38.4 A practical guide to both general principles and specific methods used to assess exposure to indoor air pollutants. Addressed to public health professionals who lack specialized training in this field, the book aims to facilitate well-designed assessments in order to identify health hazards and support strategies for risk management. Information is specific to the assessment of air pollution exposure in such indoor environments as homes, offices, and various public service buildings. The book has two parts. The first, which serves as a general introduction, opens with an explanation of concepts used in exposure assessment and important to the design and interpretation of findings. Against this background, subsequent chapters describe specific direct and indirect methods of exposure assessment and use the example of volatile organic compounds to show how exposure to mixtures can be measured. Other chapters discuss the influence of temperature and humidity on the indoor environment, provide guidelines for the design of exposure assessment surveys, and discuss the components of quality control. The second and most extensive part describes currently available methods for assessing six gaseous air pollutants; four categories of particulate air pollutants; and three biological contaminants commonly found in indoor environments and representing distinct methodological problems. Each pollutant is covered according to a common format which includes information on health effects, sources, variation of exposure, and the advantages and disadvantages of methods for assessing exposure. Further practical guidance is provided in an annex, which includes short summaries of exposure assessment studies completed or under way in the USA and several European countries. |

Several antinomies meet and mingle and are reconciled in his personality- the most significant pair being one of Solitude and Multitude.Thousands of Sathya Sai Samitis function in all parts of India and there are hundreds of them in the U.S.A, U.K. and several other parts of the world. Crowds collect in their lakhs to hear him in India. What is the secret of this charismatic power that Bhagavan Baba wields wherever he goes?Baba declared in the Sri Sathya Sai world Conference held in Bombay in 1968 that the mission for which he has come is the spiritual regeneration of India and of the mankind through him. And he has said that he will not cease from his labours till his mission is fulfilled. There are books in the field which detail has miracles, give an account of the setting in which he works, or are chronological surveys of his life-events. This book is an interpretation of the many facets of Baba’s personality by a disciple who has lived close to him in his Asram and moved with him on his momentous tours. Professor Vinayak Krishna Gokak is one of those who are near and dear all in an ocean of love which encircles and buoys up equally all those who have plunged |

Broken Promises $1.21 Once the world’s most admired corporations, IBM stumbled badly in the early 1990s. At the depth of the crisis, the company suffered its first ever operating loss and eliminated nearly 200,000 jobs. What went wrong? Contrary to popular wisdom, the authors argue that the root cause of IBM’s difficulties was not that it fell behind in technology, but rather that it disregarded its customers and misled its employees. In this book, Mills and Friesen draw on extensive interviews with IBM executives, access to company files, and surveys of the company’s customers to explain why, despite its advantages, IBM’s executives failed to maintain its leadership. The authors show that IBM developed an overly optimistic strategic plan based more on pride than on reality; made a financing decision that eventually crippled its industry-leading marketing franchise; destroyed its long-term relationship with customers, to whom it had guaranteed high-quality product and close service support; broke its implied commitment to employees of lifetime employment security; and executed a massive corporate reorganization that left the subsequent strategic crisis unresolved. Telling the story of IBM’s downfall in the context of the company’s history, the authors also outline the challenges that lie ahead for current leadership, even in the face of IBM’s apparent rebound. Broken Promises is a cautionary tale of strategic miscalculation, managerial error, and a loss of confidence that demonstrates for executives at any large company the risks of neglecting customer and employee relationships in the face of large-scale change. |

Camouflage Isn’t Only for Combat: Gender, Sexuality, and Women in the Military $19.2 Drawing on surveys and interviews with almost 300 female military personnel, Melissa Herbert explores how women’s everyday actions, such as choice of uniform, hobby, or social activity, involve the creation and re-creation of what it means to be a woman, and particularly a woman soldier. Do women feel pressured to be “more masculine,” to convey that they are not a threat to men’s jobs or status and to avoid being perceived as lesbians? She also examines the role of gender and sexuality in the maintenance of the male-defined military institution, proposing that, more than sexual harassment or individual discrimination, it is the military’s masculine ideology–which views military service as the domain of men and as a mechanism for the achievement of manhood–which serves to limit women’s participation in the military has increased dramatically. In the wake of armed conflict involving female military personnel and several sexual misconduct scandals, much attention has focused on what life is like for women in the armed services. Few, however, have examined how these women negotiate an environment that has been structured and defined as masculine. |
