- Set up a PayPal account – This is a free account which is easily established in just a few minutes online. It provides the easiest method for you to get paid for your online activities. You will need your PayPal email address (which is your account name with PayPal) before you begin signing up with survey providers.
- Set up at least one separate email account to use For Surveys – You will want to set up more special email accounts later so that you can categorize and manage the survey opportunities that will be sent to you, but initially one special email account will get you started.
- Get the Free version of Roboform – This program works with all the current Internet browsers and it automates the sign up process and keeps your passwords organized. You will be signing up with a lot of survey companies so this is a must. Roboform has an artificial intelligence feature that will automatically fill in the sign up forms with a single click of your mouse. - Become a member of a survey aggregator which has a pre-filtered database of paying survey companies. Some people may recommend that you simply search the Internet for free paid survey lists. There are also some websites that advertise free paid survey databases. Unfortunately, it takes constant maintenance to keep these databases current and of high quality so most of the free methods of finding quality survey providers fail. If you pay the small fee to become a member of a well maintained database, it will not only get you started getting quality surveys quicker, but will provide you with the newer survey companies as they become available. Otherwise, you will waste time signing up with several survey companies that will not deliver the surveys nor the rewards that you want. So, as with any business, there are some start up fees. Essays on socioeconomic disparities in dental health. $49.99 This dissertation examines the determinants of preventive dental care use and dental health outcomes, and it contributes to our understanding of forces behind the phenomenon of socioeconomic disparities in health. We explore the role of socioeconomic factors, dental health insurance and dental health preferences on the decision to use preventive dental care services. In addition, the impact of preventive care on dental outcomes is identified and quantified. Access to quality care is a key suspect in explaining differences in outcomes, but measuring this access has not been easy. Insurance status is an obvious indicator of access to care. The dental health market is ideal for studying the role of access in producing efficient outcomes for a number of reasons: the ability to accurately measure access to care and the significant evidence base surrounding the benefits of preventive care, the wider disparities in quantity and quality of dental insurance coverage, as well as relatively high coinsurance rates in general. Using data from the dental health market we study utilization patterns by socioeconomic status and access to care. We examine the role of socioeconomic factors, dental health insurance and dental health preferences on the decision to use preventive dental care services. Estimated effects of dental health insurance are potentially biased by an adverse selection problem where the demand for services and insurance are simultaneous and driven by health need and preferences. We construct an indicator of preferences to directly purge the bias. We take into account heterogeneity in dental health preferences that may drive the propensity to insure, as well as the propensity to use dental health services (adverse selection). Using self-assessments from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), we construct indicators of preferences by taking advantage of the subjectivity incorporated in them. Pursuing energy efficiency in buildings is vital to energy security in developing countries and is identified by the Intergovernment Panel on Climate Change as having the greatest potential for cost-effective reduction of CO2 emissions by 2030 among all energy-consuming sectors. Building energy efficiency codes (BEECs), along with energy efficiency standards for major appliances and equipment, are broadly recognized as a necessary government intervention to overcome persistent market barriers to capturing the economic potential of energy efficiency gains in the residential, commercial and public-service sectors. Implementation of BEECs help prevent costly energy wastes over the lifecycles of buildings in space heating, air conditioning, lighting, and other energy service requirements. Nonetheless, achieving the full potential of energy savings afforded by more energy-efficient buildings requires holding people who live or work in buildings accountable for the cost of energy services.Compliance enforcement has been the biggest challenge to implementing BEECs. This report summarizes the findings of an extensive literature survey of the experiences of implementing BEECs in developed countries, as well as those from case studies of China, Egypt, India, and Mexico. The high school counselor’s role in advising student’s future career goals in diverse school settings. $49.99 The role of high school counselors has been debated since the creation of the profession. There is currently limited research available that examines the services provided by counselors to students. However, current literature does indicate that high school students are not receiving career guidance services from school counselors. The purpose of this quantitative study is to identify the job function of Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan high school counselors, identify the role of counselors pertaining to student career guidance, and determine if these activities vary base on whether the students served attend Title I or non-Title I schools. This study implemented a survey tool modeled after the 2002 National Center for Educational Statistics survey which was used to collect national data relating to the job function of counselors. The population of this study included all high school counselors located in four school districts in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area. The results of this study revealed differences exist between Title I and non-Title I schools in the following areas: non-Title I schools are more likely to have a written plan for their guidance program; counselors at non-Title I schools spend a greater percentage of time providing postsecondary education admissions and selections services; Title I counselors spend more time working on students' attendance, discipline and other school and personal problems: and a greater percentage of graduates from non-Title I schools enroll in post-secondary education intuitions one year after graduation while a larger percentage of graduates from Title I schools pursue other activities such as entering the labor market, joining the military or being a full-time homemaker. Furthermore, this study revealed limited time is allocated by counselors in providing career guidance services to high school students. |
