Examples Of Questionnaires Are A Short Way To Customer Satisfaction Data
Customer satisfaction is the cornerstone of your company’s online success. Even if your site is at the top of the search engine listings and you sell superior quality products, it may happen that your customers are not fully satisfied with the level of service they get. Any commercial enterprise may have certain aspects that need to be improved and if you have any, it’s better to find out about them first-hand. This is exactly where online questionnaires come into play. Fortunately, it’s quite easy to tailor a customer satisfaction questionnaire with the help of convenient examples of questionnaires offered at specialised websites. If you are not a professional online marketer, you may be interested in getting credible data on how to make online surveys work.
What are online questionnaires?
Online questionnaires are a type of online customer surveys featuring lists of questions on certain aspects of the company’s operation, be it delivery options, shipping conditions, the process of ordering items, the range of available products or registration. The purpose of most online questionnaires is to help you get information on the level of customer satisfaction with the products and services you offer. The received information is analysed to give you a clear idea on how to improve your company operation. Online questionnaires are usually designed to suit your particular requirements. They may feature different layouts of questions and several question types, depending on what information you are trying to get. You can find numerous examples of questionnaires on the web to suit your business model in general and website in particular.
Pre-built survey templates
Even if you are not an online survey guru, tailoring effective questionnaires is not an issue with a large selection of pre-built survey templates available on the Internet. If you are not quite sure what type of questionnaire you need, browse extensive online galleries containing numerous examples of questionnaires to take advantage of. You just have to fill in a special contact form to get a sharp looking template. Next, style your survey template with smart themes to match your website design. You can use a more advanced tool to make your survey look exactly like it’s part of your website. Thus, you don’t necessarily have to be a web designer to create your own examples of questionnaires using pre-built templates. However, you may need expert consultancy on which questions to go for to find out what you need. If your aim is to learn more about your targeted audience, ask about the respondent’s age, occupation, gender, education and so on. To find out more on how to improve your business, implement a few open-ended questions inquiring about the customer’s opinion.
Analysing the results
Asking the right questions is not enough for receiving credible data. You have to analyse the collected information using special software or ask for professional assistance. Later, the results are used to work out an effective online marketing strategy and improve your business operation in general.
It’s no good underestimating the role of customer surveys as they are probably the easiest way to get reliable data on how to make your business work. Easy-to-use examples of questionnaires offered online give you an immediate advantage of utilising these credible data without having to spend money like it’s going out of style.

‘Injuns!’: Native Americans in the Movies $3.49 The indispensable sage, fierce enemy, silent sidekick: the role of Native Americans in film has been largely confined to identities defined by the “white” perspective. Many studies have analyzed these simplistic stereotypes of Native American cultures in film, but few have looked beyond the Hollywood Western for further examples. Distinguished film scholar Edward Buscombe offers here an incisive study that examines cinematic depictions of Native Americans from a global perspective. Buscombe opens with a historical survey of American Westerns and their controversial portrayals of Native Americans: the wild redmen of nineteenth-century Wild West shows, the more sympathetic depictions of Native Americans in early Westerns, and the shift in the American film industry in the 1920s to hostile characterizations of Indians. Questioning the implicit assumptions of prevailing critiques, Buscombe looks abroad to reveal a distinctly different portrait of Native Americans. He focuses on the lesser known Westerns made in Germany—such as East Germany’s Indianerfilme, in which Native Americans were Third World freedom fighters battling against Yankee imperialists—as well as the films based on the novels of nineteenth-century German writer Karl May. These alternative portrayals of Native Americans offer a vastly different view of their cultural position in American society.Buscombe offers nothing less than a wholly original and readable account of the cultural images of Native Americans through history andaround  the globe, revealing new and complex issues in our understanding of how oppressed peoples have been represented in mass culture. |

Designers have to work with coalitions and alianties, time and process, ecology and economy. They have to be clever, with a broad vision. This new approach doesn’t need to be boring. It can make fun. And be sexy.Green metropolises: developing older cities and rural non-places into tasty green housing landscapes. Examples in Germany, Belgium and Algeria. The tradition of IBA, Olympic Games and World expo’s: how exhibitions contribute to sustainable spatial quality. Acupuncture in London: a catalogue of ideas to renew old districts. The concept of Hollands Green Heart: how to revitalise an old planning concept. American artists vs Dutch engineers. Water as the engine of change. Essay: survey before plan, design as an exploration. The changing position of the architect. Portrait: Kees Christiaanse: urban designer in Holland and China. Christiaanse seems to play with urbanism, using informal rules as a design instrument. |

‘injuns!’ $12.05 The indispensable sage, fierce enemy, silent sidekick: the role of Native Americans in film has been largely confined to identities defined by the white perspective. He focuses on the lesser known Westerns made in Germany such as East Germany s Indianerfilme, in which Native Americans were Third World freedom fighters battling against Yankee imperialists as well as the films based on the novels of nineteenth-century German writer Karl May. These alternative portrayals of Native Americans offer a vastly different view of their cultural position in American society. Buscombe offers nothing less than a wholly original and readable account of the cultural images of Native Americans through history andaround the globe, revealing new and complex issues in our understanding of how oppressed peoples have been represented in mass culture. |

A Beginner’s Guide to Discrete Mathematics $60.63 This introduction to discrete mathematics is aimed primarily at undergraduates in mathematics and computer science at the freshmen and sophomore levels. The text has a distinctly applied orientation and begins with a survey of number systems and elementary set theory. Included are discussions of scientific notation and the representation of numbers in computers. Lists are presented as an example of data structures. An introduction to counting includes the Binomial Theorem and mathematical induction, which serves as a starting point for a brief study of recursion. The basics of probability theory are then covered.Graph study is discussed, including Euler and Hamilton cycles and trees. This is a vehicle for some easy proofs, as well as serving as another example of a data structure. Matrices and vectors are then defined. The book concludes with an introduction to cryptography, including the RSA cryptosystem, together with the necessary elementary number theory, e.g., Euclidean algorithm, Fermat’s Little Theorem. Good examples occur throughout. At the end of every section there are two problem sets of equal difficulty. However, solutions are only given to the first set. References and index conclude the work. A math course at the college level is required to handle this text. College algebra would be the most helpful. |

A Mathematical Introduction to Conformal Field Theory $89.95 The first part of this book gives a detailed, self-contained and mathematically rigorous exposition of classical conformal symmetry in n dimensions and its quantization in two dimensions. In particular, the conformal groups are determined and the appearance of the Virasoro algebra in the context of the quantization of two-dimensional conformal symmetry is explained via the classification of central extensions of Lie algebras and groups. The second part surveys some more advanced topics of conformal field theory, such as the representation theory of the Virasoro algebra, conformal symmetry within string theory, an axiomatic approach to Euclidean conformally covariant quantum field theory and a mathematical interpretation of the Verlinde formula in the context of moduli spaces of holomorphic vector bundles on a Riemann surface. The substantially revised and enlarged second edition makes in particular the second part of the book more self-contained and tutorial, with many more examples given. Furthermore, two new chapters on Wightman’s axioms for quantum field theory and vertex algebras broaden the survey of advanced topics. An outlook making the connection with most recent developments has also been added. |

A Survey Of Statistical Network Models $85 Networks have found a prominent place in our everyday life. In science, networks have been used to analyze interpersonal social relationships, communication, academic paper co-authorships and citations, protein interaction patterns, and much more. Popular books on networks and their analysis began to appear a decade ago, and online “networking communities” such as Facebook, MySpace, and LinkedIn now include millions of people from around the world. Formal statistical modeling for the analysis of network data has emerged as a major research topic in diverse areas of study.A Survey of Statistical Network Models aims to provide the reader with an entry point to the voluminous literature on statistical network modeling. It guides the reader through the development of key stochastic network models, touches upon a number of examples and commonalities across different parts of the network literature, and discusses major schools of thought in static and dynamic network modeling. In addition, it illuminates the interconnections between existing models. Despite the rich and extensive network modeling literature, many statistical questions remain unanswered. It is hoped that the concluding discussion of gaps and challenges will help the interested reader deduce important future research directions. |

A Thin Cosmic Rain $149.87 Enigmatic for many years, cosmic rays are now known to be not rays at all, but particles, the nuclei of atoms, raining down continually on the earth, where they can be detected throughout the atmosphere and sometimes even thousands of feet underground. This book tells the long-running detective story behind the discovery and study of cosmic rays, a story that stretches from the early days of subatomic particle physics in the 1890s to the frontiers of high-energy astrophysics today. In an excellent survey of the complex and fascinating history of the subject, [Michael Friedlander] gives a blow-by-blow account of the discoveries and the details … His readers, and he deserves to have many, will learn about increasingly elegant detection techniques, about cosmic rays from the sun, the energy spectra of the particles and details of the tiny–but important–flux of gamma rays. –New Scientist Friedlander reviews the many different kinds of radiation in comprehensive detail, interspersing throughout his technical taxonomy fascinating examples of how research into these visitors from distant stars has yielded many useful terrestrial applications … Friedlander writes very fluidly … The book will appeal to science buffs interested in cosmology, particle physics, archeology, even nuclear medicine. It should establish itself as a standard work in the field of cosmic radiation. –Publishers Weekly |

A Treatise On Money And Essays On Monetary Problems (1895) $19.84 Purchase of this book includes free trial access to www.million-books.com where you can read more than a million books for free. This is an OCR edition with typos.Excerpt from book:CHAPTER III MATERIAL MONEY AND REQUISITES OF GOOD COINAGE § 1. Early forms of money.—It is necessary, however, before attempting to explain the causes of these movements in general prices, to return to the simple elements of the subject, and to consider what substances are best adapted to serve for money, or to fulfil these various money functions. We are so much accustomed to regard gold and silver as money par excellence, that we are apt to forget the number and variety of materials which have been used at different times. If space permitted, a historical survey would show that what are termed the precious metals may be regarded as ” survivals of the fittest” in the struggle for existence of a great variety of substances, ” It is entirely,” as Professor Jevons says, ” a question of degree what commodities will, in any given society, form the most convenient currency.” I give a few examples, chiefly derived from this writer’s work on Money. In the hunting stage of societies skins have very commonly been used, and this is the explanation of the verse in Job (ii. 4): ” Skin forskin; yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” The transition from skins to leather was natural, and leather money is said to have been used in many ancient nations. Even in quite recent times in the trade of the Hudson’s Bay Company with the North American Indians, furs long formed the medium of exchange. In the pastoral stage, when the principal wealth of the society consisted of herds, we find cattle used as a measure of value, and it is said that pecunia, the Latin term for money, is derived from pecus, cattle. In the agricultural state corn came into use as money, and is said still to form the medium of exchange in some remote parts of Europe, whilst at different times |

Ad Women: How They Impact What We Need, Want, and Buy $6.63 Most of the workers in advertising, the media, retail, and fashion are women. Holding key marketing and advertising positions, women shape the basic promotional appeal of almost every consumer product in America. How did the advertising business go from a handful of women in a man’s world to women working in virtually every mass consumer goods industry in America in the space of the twentieth century? Ad Women tells the story of how women have risen to the top of the advertising profession. Juliann Sivulka, a former marketing communications manager and now an advertising educator, describes how, at the beginning of the twentieth century, the recognition of women as primary consumers resulted in the hiring of more women to promote products aimed at the women’s market. At that time manufacturers began to emphasize color, fashion, and style, while advertising embraced a new language of persuasion aimed at women consumers. Soon agencies were recruiting an ensemble of businesswomen-copywriters, product designers, merchandisers, fashion and beauty experts, home economists, editors, and publicists. Through close collaboration with manufacturers, mass media, and retailers, they participated in developing strategies to convince women to buy goods and wove their selling messages into women’s reading, shopping, housework, and leisure activities.Sivulka follows three key periods in the history of American advertising, which represent eras of major social change for women (1880-1920, the 1920s, and the 1970s). She discusses the effect on advertising of such controversial issues as the women’s movement, minorities, and consumer activism, and devotes an entire chapter to the contributionsto advertising of African American, Hispanic, and Asian American women in the twentieth century.Copiously illustrated with portraits of early ad women and examples of their work, this thoroughly researched and engagingly written survey of women in advertising will fascinate |

African American Vernacular English $16.9 Scholarly Paper (Advanced Seminar) aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Anglistik – Linguistik, einseitig bedruckt, Note: 2,0, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, 7 Eintragungen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Englisch, Abstract: English is the most spoken language in the world. Wherever you go, you can express yourself via English. But English is not the same anyplace you go. British English and American English, for instance, differ a lot. Not only by means of pronunciation, but also concerning vocabulary, grammar etc. Moreover, the language within each country differs and there exist many dialects. One may say that African American Vernacular English (AAVE) is a dialect; others may say it is a separate language system. In this paper I will try to show how AAVE works, who speaks it and how it differs from Standard English. My focus lies on AAVE spoken in the United States. “Significant research on black English in the United states is almost entirely a product of the 1960s” (Dillard1972: 6) and thus not that old. Nevertheless there exist different opinions concerning as well? Its the origin and the status it has.So, in this essay I am going to deal with Black American English and its specific features and differences to Standard English. Standard means here the achieved official recognition of a language. The standard is spoken by the majority of speakers in the US.The analysis includes an introduction to the grammar of AAVE and its specific vocabulary. At the beginning a short survey will be given on who actually speaks AAVE. At the end of the paper, I will give some examples how AAVE actually works and is used by blacks. Tense, mood, and aspect cannot always be strictly separated, and thus the explanations and examples of each category are sort of melted together. Moreover, I will talk about the question whether AAVE should be looked at as if being a self-governed language system or a dialect of Standard English spoken in |

Agricultural Markets and Prices $85.75 Agricultural markets have changed rapidly in recent years, and while standard treatments of price analysis are still relevant, there is a critical need to train students to work in the new world of agricultural markets. This text incorporates new information and devotes more time and space to the issues of agricultural industrialization and market structure likely to be faced by applied economists. At the same time, it explicitly includes far more examples/case studies and covers issues in regression analysis and empiricism in far greater depth than other books at this level.A greater focus on, and integration of, empirical techniques make this book readily usable for instructors who wish to incorporate data analysis in their courses. This text also places a heavier emphasis on market structure – imperfect competition, vertical coordination, contracting, and so on. Providing students with the necessary background to understand the new environment in which they will be expected to operate, including some introduction to game theory with applications, this book is indispensable reading for both upper-level undergraduates and graduate students. Chapters on more advanced techniques such as survey design and conjoint analysis are also included. Each chapter offers practical examples used to make key points, “key questions” for review purposes, exercises, and questions posed to students that can be used by instructors to stimulate classroom discussion. |
