This could possibly be one of the easiest ways of making Extra Money online in Australia – filling out online Surveys For companies. Basically large, well known companies such as Nike, eBay, Amazon, etc want to know what the average person likes and dislikes. Its the way they go about Conducting Market Research in order to improve to both improve the way they market their products as well as improve their product to make more sales. You may have heard of focus groups where companies will pay you to go along to some place and answer questions about a product, service or a movie or something. This is very similar, except you have the added bonus of being able to do this from your own home.

Most large companies conduct some form of market research through online surveys. They may be simple short ones or longer more in-depth ones. Obviously the more in-depth they are, the more money you get paid. Payment for completing surveys ranges from about $5 up to about $150 if you participate in an online focus group.

The types of questions they ask are usually simple things like “How often do you shop for groceries” or they may get more personal by asking “What it is that persuades you to buy a certain type of soft drink?”, but nothing very hard, and you don’t need to know anything about marketing or business to do this, you just need to answer honestly.

Pro’s:

* One of the easiest methods of making cash from home
* You don’t need any capital to start
* You don’t need to do much learning if at all
* You don’t need to purchase products to start
* You can make a full time income if you fill out enough surveys
* You don’t need special knowledge or skills in marketing nor selling to do this
* You choose your own hours, be your own boss

Con’s:

* Unlike other forms of internet marketing, the amount of income you can make is directly related to how much time you have (i.e. to fill out the surveys)
* The potential income is not as large as other internet businesses like affiliate marketing or selling on eBay
* There is lots of competition now such that many companies have reduced the amount they are willing to pay For Surveys since they have such a good supply of people willing to take them

For Australians:

The most difficult step in this form of making extra money, is finding places to take the surveys and companies willing to pay you for them. In Australia this can be even more limited, although many US companies will allow Australians to do surveys for them. Many Australian companies have resorted to things like entering you into a draw to win something for filling out a survey, this is not what you want.. you want to paid the cold hard cash. Whilst the potential income you can generate from this form of online money making is limited, its a great way of making some extra cash.
